It's been a difficult week and a little distraction might be nice. If you are so inclined, please share a prompt, or something happy, or something that I've done that helped. Thanks!
The Wars of the Roses are absolutely, definitely, finally over (bar a little bit of shouting, and historians rolling their eyes at each other). Best news to dominate the air waves so far this year.
If you're soliciting prompts, I would love to see Cook get a story of her own.

It is FINALLY over! The commentary and coverage have been amazing. And Cook.... you know... given my recent difficulties with the meal with no meat, nuts, eggs, or gluten...
When I've been bored, felt like procrastinating from doing other things or just need inspiration, I've been reading yours and Bedlam's fics. This past week, for example, I've been skimming through chapters of H&M! Just reading about Edmund and (his dealings with) the Bankers put a smile on my face.
If you're taking prompts: - Newly-crowned King Caspian trying to choose a Royal Guard among the various Beasts that have volunteered
- Susan and Lambert reunion in Aslan's Country
- Digs and Peter visiting Polly and the llamas and camels at Whipsnade (apparently, llamas were one of the earlier animals installed at the zoo around 1928-30, and the camels came along in 1932)
LLAMAS AND CAMELS??? OMG. I'm so glad that re-reading things has been pleasant for you. I really appreciate hearing that. Those are all AMAZING prompts...
Llamas and camels oh my. The PDF I linked to has a small photo of the camels.
And of course, another Narnia-like coincidence is the white lion carved into the hill back in 1932. Covered during the War but I'm sure you could somehow still work it into a story. :-)
The white lion is terrific! Covered with netting plus turf - I expect they could still have traced it, if they were walking or picnicking on the hillside? Great find, autumnia! :)
I hope you're past needing cheering up at this point, but just in case!
-You've written some of the only canon character/original character fics I've ever loved. The OCs in your Narnia fics are just wonderful, whether on the Narnian or England side of the wardrobe, and they both fit into the world and enhance it beautifully. TQSIT remains one of my favorite fics, ever.
-You host the 3SF! Which I adore even if I dropped out halfway through this year. AND you help me create wonderful crackships and indulge me in prompting and writing them.
And if you still want prompts, how about some Peter/Eowyn, meeting her first talking Horses.
Oh thanks so much my friend. I did wonder that you weren't able to finish the 3SF. You were much missed. I''ve not posted the crackships yet. Have you? It's so nice of you to say those things. I really, really appreciate it and I hope everything is OK with you.
