So I read Last Train out of Warsaw the other day, and part of its character sheet has these two really interesting sections: a WE ALL WONDER section and a AND WE KNOW section
( Read more... )
WE ALL WONDER: * Out of all the different faces you show to different people, who /are/ you, really? * When the time comes to choose, which comes first: Amber or Lyonesse? * What -- or who -- do you love enough to be selfish for?
AND WE KNOW: * Your masquerades will cost you dearly when the wrong person mistakes them for the real you.
Above was an example of why this would be cool. It lets people know what I'm interested in having worked out, without me having to say "LETS DO SOMETHING ABOUT ME! MEMEMEMEME!". And would allow me to play to someone else's arc without having to say "What do you want me to be nosey about."
Perhaps more importantly, it's an inherently fluid and changing thing, as arcs change. So, as, say, item 3 gets played out (oh, say a week!) you could delete it, signalling to people that you're no longer actively exploring that.
So: "Why are you mainlining music?" could become "Why are you studying Morris Dancing? Have you not heard of Liam's vision that Morris Dancing Will Destroy Tir?"
Easy way of letting people know "been there, done that, over it".

*What you /did/ that made you desert your post for a year. Sure, you're Marked, but you seem like such a nice person.
*Why you have anything to do with Corwin. And how long will you keep getting away with it?
*Why you are mainlining music? You hardly touched the lute before, and you have to realise it's boring...
We all know:
*The cure, when you take it, is going to be worse than the disease.
