Totally sweet! I actually chortled out loud, literally, at "I just...find her magic fascinating...in an intellectual way." Right, Remus, keep telling yourself that. ;-)

And "Sirius ships Remus/Tonks" is kind of one of my favorite things, so I grinned at all of those bits, too. :-)

There's such sadness in that first paragraph, with Remus acknowledging it's other people who bring colour to his life and how lonely he can be. No wonder he's dazzled when he meets Tonks, in multicoloured hair glory, but I really like the line about him being fascinated in an intellectual way. He certainly seems to admire clever witches in the books, so while it's a flimsy excuse there's a good bit of truth in there too, lol.

Like starfishstar, I'm all for Sirius shipping R/T, so in between the teasing I hope he's planning on a helping hand!

There's such an air of melancholy here, and you've done a great job showing us the lack of colour in Remus' life, on many levels, and what a contrast it is when he meets Tonks. I really liked the lines about how he dragged himself to an Order Meeting right after the full, and then And there was also the likelihood that she would be there. He couldn’t resist the lure of seeing her, of drawing some warmth from her presence. That is a really powerful image!
