Ohh brilliant! I love the way you have her perceive things, then make herself suppress them, just because - what's the good of worrying too much, right?

Very very nice!

Thanks for commenting! I think Tonks must observe a lot, especially about Remus whom she knows so well. But she wouldn't want to get into a row or something right before the wedding. I'm glad you liked it.

"Right here, right now?" She arched an eyebrow at him because she thought that possible discovery by Molly Weasley was surely the most effective mood killer ever.

Oh, I don't know about that. I know she kind of warmed up to Fleur when Bill was hospitalized, but I think part of Molly still would've been relieved to have a non-death eater situation interrupt the wedding.

Great explanation for the blonde hair, and Remus' reaction.

Thank you! You may have a point about Molly, but I have trouble believing that they would want to be the ones to provide her with a distraction, lol. I'm glad you liked the explanation and reaction.

*sighs* I like this Remus who steals her away for honeymoon-ish activities during busy weddings : ) And I do think that the pregnancy would have produced mixed emotions in both of them and I liked how you drew that out here.

And this line she suppressed the frightening suspicion that, even in the few moments since their last kiss, Remus had somehow closed himself off from her I thought was very telling, it gave me shivers.

Thank you! I have been developing a certain fondness for naughty!Remus.

I agree with you about their having mixed emotions. I think they each would have been dazed when they first found out, then joyful (despite the timing), and finally the doubts would begin to creep in (at least on Remus' part).

Thank you again.

Liked this a lot -- happy and affectionate Remus, who's nevertheless feeling guilty about the lack of a honeymoon; Tonks all bored with Fleur's primping. And then the shift in Remus's mood once Tonks gives him the news -- a very plausible prelude to his canon breakdown.

The last paragraph is a fantastic ending, and it absolutely gives me chills, because of course the "decision" isn't at all what Tonks thinks it is...

Thank you! I like to think that they had a little time for newly-wedded bliss before finding out about the pregnancy and the Death Eaters. And I'm glad you find Remus' reaction plausible.

I'm glad you liked the last paragraph, too.
