The Cabbage Patch doll thing would explain why it appears to have its head pierced... Anyway, this was a pleasure to read! You went through Tonks's ages with perfect timing.
In a shed, good grief, poor girl. Rolly's Reliables, though, I like. ;)

I also liked the idea of Remus's twitching eyelid, and the way the mantra changed at the end. I like the idea of them laughing at their own wedding-I bet the congregation started snickering too. Wonderful!

Thank you! And yes, in my head I'm sure that everyone started cracking up and it would have been one of those stories that they would have remembered fondly forever more :)

That was great. I loved how Tonks was laughing through her vows; it just seems so appropriate for them.

I've always loved your stories and here is yet another that is just perfect! The don't cry mantra is so familiar and you've found all the right moments that it has to be used. I'm so glad to get to read one of your stories again.

Oh thank you for saying that! I feel so rusty right now - and grateful that the challenge is here to force me to write even if it needs work.

I had a doll just like Tonks'!! She was the awesome!!

Poor girl...in a shed with a sweating boy slumped on top of her. Ugh.

I like your Remus. He can lie through his teeth, but Tonks (and Sirius) knew what to look for.

The end is great. I blubbered through out my wedding ceremony (Much to The Husband's amusement). I like that they laughed through theirs =)

That was great! I really enjoyed this you captured the emotions well, and I love the idea of Tonks dressed in this very beautiful dress, but with her army boots. Very good use of the prompt, and don't worry I thought it was a doll too!

I know a surprising number of women who insisted on wearing comfortable shoes under their wedding dresses since no one would see them ;)
