Circumstances, all their circumstances, just suck. Why must fate be cruel? Why must the hand that guided these two to cross each other's path be this cynical and just full of bitter irony.
Could it be considered sweet? To know they felt something for each other, that those lingering feelings are from dormant? Possibly.
It hurts me, and when you said you forgot Mild!Angst, I became afraid. .-.
I hope they are happy, in some sense, and that their time could reach beyond mere sunrise and long past those sunsets.
Am I hoping for too much? Possibly...
But I allow myself to dream!
