Anniversary Recap, Doctor Appointment TOMORROW gasp

I'm actually waiting for the doctor to call me back to say whether she wants to take me on as a patient, and it's a bit nerve-racking. I just had to give my name, age, phone number, name of insurance company, and current medicines I'm taking. Well, the doctor was really, really nice and seemed to care. And there wasn't really pressure, which is good. She wants me to come back for a pap test, go to a local hospital for a needle test for my numb fingertips, and she gave me three weeks' worth of antidepressants to get me on my way until my follow-up. It was a lot easier than expected,a dn I should have one it sooner, but I was just dreading it so much.

Yay! I'm glad you had a good experience. What antidepressant did she give you? I love prozac, but there are many. Remember that it could take 4-6 weeks for the med to work completely, so don't get discouraged if you don't notice a huge difference right away!

She gave me Lexapro. I only started it yesterday, but I feel different. When I can feel a stressful situation coming on, my throat usually started closing up and all that until I'd all but pass out. Now I can feel a tightening, but it's nowhere as bad, like it's physically impossible. I was having multiple attcks each day, so it was a real misery.

As far as side effects, I had a lot of fatigue, grogginess, some nauseau, and a little sleeplessness. Do these go down in time? Did you have side effects?

Autumn was off in LaLa Land for most of the party, trying to stay with my sister and see and do everything that was offered. You might be happy to know that we do talk about you out of the blue, and she thinks highly of you,a s do I. Are you feeling better?
