If that is not fun for you, or you don't think that's a worthwhile use of fannish energy, you should skip this entry ( Read more... )

I had honestly never thought about wall sex like that before. I genuinely find that hot, and tend to write my male characters doing that too, especially in fics where the boys have a size difference. (hello Big Dude/Little Dude kink!!) I guess I don't expect that for myself, though in my fantasies there is often a convenient bathroom/kitchen counter I can be hoisted on to!

It's interesting, because USA is full of beautiful people shows, which I tend to forgive more easily than shows like csi or law and order which purport to be about real people and still dont show fat people. On USA it's all cops and robbers and spies in shoes that are impractical and suits that fit too well ( even when the show makes jokes about that). USA shows arent about reality to me as much as fantasy, and for that, I like that they gave us Donna and Jessica, and Rachel and Elizabeth Burke and even Annie Walker, who is sometimes naive but never helpless. I should watch more USA shows...

I don't think I'd thought about wall sex that way before either, but something about that episode made it click for me. And I love wall sex! I have done the convenient surface thing for women who can't be held up against the wall - the Pete/girl!Patrick story where that was kind of what I wanted has a table instead.

Good point about USA shows often being essentially fantasy of a sort. It does make it seem less improbable, I suppose.
