For the record, I loved the premiere of Hockey Wives. I watched it with focused attention (I closed both Firefox and my Twitter client), and with my knees clasped to my chest in delight. Today I'm thankful for 2/3 of Shonda Rhimes' Thursday night block. On Fridays, I like to come home, eat something I didn't have to actually cook, and watch Grey's Anatomy and Scandal.

I get enough (a) dudes and (b) plot/things happening from following hockey, so what I really want out of TV right now is (a) women and (b) emotions/melodrama. I also enjoy quiet, restful crime shows, like The Killing and Broadchurch, but none of them are current at the moment, so they got left out of this post. Jerry/Kramer is my Seinfeld OTP. It's possible that's entirely because of the episode where Kramer gets a job. Some kind YouTube user has excerpted only the Kramer's job bits from the episode, and I'm inclined to think Jerry/Kramer was also the writers' OTP for this episode. It's probably no coincidence that I watched a lot of Square One as a child and grew up to be a mathematically inclined adult. (If you did not grow up with Square One, you missed out. I watched all of season one of Dance Academy some time ago, but this summer I got caught up on season two. Dance Academy is basically a teen dance movie, only Australian and in half-hour increments.
