Today I'm thankful for the library. I mostly read library books these days, they have a pretty good selection of DVDs, and it's a good place to spend some time writing.

Yesterday I was thankful for how excited so many people were to vote. Today is harder. What I'm most thankful for is that everywhere I spent time today - in online spaces, at work, at yoga - I was surrounded by other people who had cried or were crying, who were terrified and grieving and angry, just like I am.
