that was exactly what I needed tonight. Kid!fic is kind of a cure-all, I think. If I was to narrow down my two favorite things, though, neither would be the heart-melting kid!fic thing: I loved the scene with Bronx and the way you wove in such a complex history for Mike and Bill without ever pulling your audience into any kind of flashback. Basically, I loved it.

I had fun writing Bronx! On the history: I've been wanting for a long time to write something about a future where Bill chose Christine over Mike, so this is that story.

This was really lovely. I like how you built everyone - especially Evie - into their own characters even thought the focus was Bill and Mike.
