Haha! All the best revelations (and worst, but that doesn't matter here...) are easiest to say while driving, when you don't have to face anyone. I kind of wish there was more of this, which you should take as a great compliment, because I don't even tend to read let alone like non-magic AUs. But the foreign setting, places I've never been, felt like magic to me.

This was just delightful! I love how no one knows what the fuck is going on and Remus is so confused. I love even more that we don't know what they had before or anything else but that the tension between the two of them and the general weirdness of the situation is evident. GUH! And the car scene. OMG it's amazingly written and I love Remus here and of course, Sirius' general lack of sense!

Thank you thank you! I love fics that are just a snippet of the characters' lives but still tell so much, and this was my attempt to write a scene that only explained but the bare necessities. Especially with AU's, I try to leave the rest as open as possible. So glad you like it!

i don't usually read non-magic AUs, but ohh this was wonderful! i'm so glad it ended on the note it did. i have a terrible fondness for road trip-ish scenes in fics, too, so that was a nice bonus. :D
