I didn't bother to read all of the header, but my first thought was Stand By Me. It just resonated in this story. It was exciting and interesting. I cannot imagine anyone doing anything but loving this.

Stand By Me is a favorite of mine and it definitely shows through your story. Great job. I love the bit about the werewolf registry being destroyed and MWPP on the wall.

I usually turn tail and run when I see a story with a first-person narrator, because, if badly done, it has the power to destroy an otherwise good story or make a bad story even worse. But despite my aversion to this technique I really liked your story and Remus’ voice especially. He is so young without being childish, clever without knowing everything and sensitive but still boyish.

Your story as a whole was so adventurous, exciting, funny, dramatic, sad and romantic. A perfect combination of all the emotions teenage boys go through captured in the microcosm your story.

And what a great image to conclude the story: "No-one could decipher the meaning of the MWPP blasted into the wall."

Now I really wish there were more stories with the boys on a camping trip.
