I am glad that I read these in opposite order because this made me feel happy. It was not a happy story per say, but it had an uplifting ending. That really worked for the reader.

This story also felt very real. So much of their story is a broad sweeping epic about betrayal, grief, and angst. This was about the subtle things in life and that really made it shine. I liked that they had issues, but they loved each other enough to work it out. Both Sirius and Remus felt very in character and very real. I could see Sirius being a bit paranoid but still wanting to hold on to Remus and Harry above all.

Good use of prompt, too.

Poor Sirius, totally understandable that he would be so fearful and paranoid. I liked the twist of it being him who snatched Harry and Remus and took them away. I'm definitely going with the idea that with Remus' encouragement and support they'll be able to create a happier life for themselves, and I'm glad they both reaffirmed their love for Harry and each other at the end.

sirius was so brave in this, despite being understandably paranoid. i love the idea of him taking the two things he loved most in the world (harry and remus) and running away with them and yet i totally understand his paranoia.

remus handled it in a very remus-like fashion and the love between them still shone. i'll admit that i was scared there for a moment that remus would actually leave sirius but it was clear that they belonged together and could face anything to come.

I like this a lot. Its bitter sweet but so possible.if they really did take Harry I could see them being pretty isolated for their safety and yeah I can so see how that would be taxing but the ending really made me smile because it leaves you with the feeling that despite all the crap they'll pull through.

Well done mystery author

I liked the bittersweetness of this and the way nothing was easily resolved (but things do usually feel better after sex, don't they? *g*).
