I could see Sirius liking jazz and I liked how this whole piece kinda felt like jazz with bits of not-quite disjointed feelings that jelled into a really cool story. That was meant as a compliment by the way. I think I tend to be unintentionally insulting. I don't mean that the piece was disjointed by any means. It was just that the little scenes that did not formally lead anyplace totally led someplace. Oh I give up. I really liked it and I hope that you get that.

I can definitely see Remus pouring drinks in a Jazz club. I liked the nod to canon; Sirius not wanting to follow the family's expectations for him. I liked the mood that you set and the pacing was perfect. Great job!

i agree that sirius would love jazz because it is so free form and rebellious. it's also very sophisticated like he is and after listening to that sample i think that's even more true. remus really would make a great bartender too. this was a really great story and a really great use of a really great prompt
