I really love the setting you chose and the way they eased into knowing each other. Very nice!

This is charming. There is a really lovely undercurrent to this - a really beautiful, smooth and simple mood (which feels like the emotional equivalent of jazz, so very well done). You were sparing with descriptive emotion, but you still managed to convey the developing friendship and connection, the hurt and confusion, the tentative attempts at reconciliation, without adding unnecessary flourishes (I only wish I had that skill - show, not tell). Often fics this length leave me wanting just that little bit more, but here, I'm completely satisfied at the end.

Oooh, jazz seems to be a new frontier for our favorite puppies, and wow, does it suit them well. It's a lovely little story, sweet and honest and not at all overwritten. I liked it a lot. :)

I'm a huge sucker for non-magical AUs, and I especially loved this one. I loved the slow development of their relationship, the abrupt stop just when things were getting juicy, and then Sirius' decision to live his own life and not the life his parents wanted for him. Really fantastic work, mystery author. This is a definite favorite.
