This may be one of the best things I've read in forever. Every character is flawless. Even the houseelf is pretty fabulous. Sirius's love and devotion was palpable. Every reader would be lucky to have a Sirius in their lives. Teddy was fascinating. I would have loved to see more of him, but the length and pacing was perfect.

I'm so sorry for how late this response is!

Thank you so much. I'm really glad you enjoyed it. For as much of an arse Sirius can be, his heart is in the right place, and his heart is so strong. I had originally intended to write a different ending in which Teddy would feature more, but that was scrapped and unfortunately this is all we have of him. Thank you so, so much! ♥

“You don’t know Remus like I do. He’ll have about a hundred reasons why not.”

“Being alive’s a good reason.”

“I hope to make it my selling point.”

I loved this exchange.

I loved the whole fic, really; I was so anxious throughout about whether or not it would all end in tragedy. Remus's acceptance and Sirius's inability to accept are done so well, and read as very true to their characters.

I'm so sorry about the lateness of my response!

I can't thank you enough for your kind comment. I really, really appreciate it. I'm so glad you enjoyed the fic. Sirius may be stubborn, but trying to convince Remus to do anything he doesn't want once he's set his mind to it is freakishly difficult. Thank you so much. ♥

This is just stunning. Your prose is gorgeous, your characterisations perfect, and your story of two men struggling to come to some kind of reconciliation with what they believe to be terminal illness is gut wrenching in its honesty. You didn't back down from the effects of long-term lycanthropy, or the challenges they faced. I sobbed all the way through this and literally held my breath at the end until the final word.

Stunning.

Mother Wolf would like to apologize for the tardiness of his reply, but would like to remind Mr. Malfoy that the sentiment is very much appreciated.

And he is, very tired, though recovering. Thank you so much, chiquita. ♥ ♥
