This story hurt. Especially because it feels truer than the ones where they fall happily into each others arms and f*ck like happy bunnies after their reunion. This feels so true to these characters and how wrecked they are by canon events (and life) already. And you express it so very well that I know this is truth.

Oh wow...this is so wonderful. I love your view of this time they had together. How it didn't work out perfectly, how they no longer quite fit. Thank you. This is painful and beautiful and amazing, all in one go.
