As much as it kills me to say this, this is probably EXACTLY the way it went down. Your writing is lush and poetic and every word of this really spoke to me. I felt for both men very deeply. This had great emotional depth.

This is painfully heartbreaking and so true to canon. We all like to believe that they had a wonderful make up and comforting relationship during this time, but this is more probably how it happened and it breaks my heart. It's beautiful and perfectly written.
