This is fantastic. Beautifully written, and a tribute to the song that inspired it. I do hope that once the Games end, you will repost this to potterxcohen.

Awwwww, proper happy endings are hard to come by in this ship, so I'm always doubly happy when one comes along. Pair that with great writing and structure, and you got yourself a deal - whatever that may be, lol!! :-D

Oh this was utterly beautiful. I like how the happy ending didn't seemed forced, I loved the entire thing, but I'm pretty sure that was my favourite part. Lovely.

Gripping story and great use of the feel of canon in an AU! You portrayed the one off that grew into much more very, very well. I could feel their raw passion and growing feelings in the sex scenes which were a vital part of this story. However, my favorite passage was this one:

"John Arnold timepiece, circa late 1700's," he answered, sliding the pad of his thumb over the curve of the watch that had been passed down through the Black family, that had been willed to the eldest son of each generation on the occasion of his wedding. It was beautiful and had been a constant throughout Black history. When he was younger and less jaded, Sirius imagined that, by just holding it, the love and happiness it had absorbed in the past would be transferred to him.

It contrasted so well with the modern and cuttind scenes about the rinds with both Amy and later Remus.

I loved this. I have such a thing for Sirius leaving his family because he was forced to marry. Your Walburga was fantastic. I love how dysfunctional his family, well, both their families were. Such different origins and yet the commonality of alcoholism was a believable thread. The sadness and desperation was so strong here. Love this story so much.
