Lovely use of the everyday aspects of their school life as the background to Sirius' thoughts. The stars tying it all together throughout worked really well!

Oh I love this! Coming of age and not knowing anything about the future, unfamiliar emotions that are also very exciting--you show what it's like to be young, on the cusp of adulthood, and being in love. Very nice, Mystery Author!

This is a beautiful character study, of both of them, but especially of Sirius. I loved the details about the coffee and the sleeping arrangements, and the notes passed during class. And the very last line just. Awwww :)

On weekends, it’s never past noon when James or Sirius announces “I’ve got a brilliant idea!” -- Have you ever listened to Cabin Pressure? If not, you should. This line made me think of Arthur, and then I got thinking of all the trouble he would get into with the Marauders...
