:D!!Heheee!Hhehehehe!!oh my god!!this is sooo cute!And amusing!I adored the writing from the young boy's point of view and the cute moments later on.Really good fic on halloween day!Seriously,the details about Regulus and how he's ready to go with Sirius when he tells him about being taken away by muggles.Teehee!The reactions about father christmas and the ending!Awww!!the image of those two puppies snuggling is just too adorable!

as a long time member of this fandom i always worry on halloween. it wasn't exactly the best holiday for sirius, was it? but this was exactly the opposite and exactly what i needed. it was sweet, fun, funny, and just right. it totally made me happy, too!

i loved the boys here because they were so young and genuinely boyish. the bit about father christmas and the easter bunny really made me giggle, and it was very well written, too. poor sirius. he was so deprived of holiday fun that i could totally understand what he was so fascinated with the great pumpkin. i would have been, too. and remus was very sweet to go along with it. you did a great job conveying how happy he was to be the one singled out by sirius.

and the ending was adorable. i wonder if sirius really woke up believing that the great pumpkin was real.

this was exactly the halloween treat i needed. thank you, mystery author!

This was such a perfect story to end the fest with. And to celebrate Halloween too! So cute and funny. I kept giggling through it all. I loved Sirius' child logic and Remus being all professorial already. And it is a lovely tale of their friendship and closeness. Great dialogue, characterization and so very sweet. Kudos.
