Brilliant. Wonderful. A really great read that gets into Sirius' head and really examines the effect Sirius' family had on him and the repercussions of the Incident. And the interactions between Remus, who fancies Sirius but doesn't know how to trust him or trust himself about Sirius, and Sirius, who knows he messed up but needs to fix it, were very well written. A real pleasure to read.

I also love the humor in it: from Sirius being mad at James that his muggle magazines have all those girls blocking the bikes to everyone noticing that Sirius stares at Gregory's arse.

Thank you so very much. I’m glad you enjoyed it. And I’m happy that the humor worked for you. I wanted to keep a good balance in there and not let it get too heavy, so I’m glad that worked.

This fic is utterly cute,fluffy,angst-y and makes go 'uwaaaah' with a face like this -> :3. No,really. The atmosphere there, the way Sirius is so lost within his thoughts and not in a good way necessarily,I liked that bit a lot. Those boys are awesome,I just adooored the pranking, the flowers, lol, the flowers scene was one of the best.

The confessions towards the end though, they made me want to hug Sirius so bad and Remus's reaction and his dialogue, they were peeerfect!

I'll have you know, I was supposed to be working on student evaluations all morning, but now I've just finished this fic and it's time for me to get ready for work.

That was wonderful! It was such a painful glimpse into Sirius's life, and I love the dynamic between the four of them. They really do feel like brothers trying to figure out their places in this school family.

It was absolutely brilliant!

There are barely the words to describe how I feel about this fic. For me, it genuinely crackles with magic in every single line, including the ones without even so much as a flick of a wand. You are so unbelievably good at building magic, making the boys as gifted as they are in the books, developing a depth and credibility to the world of magic and to Hogwarts. There are too many examples to point out, but I think your participation into creating the Magical world is stunning. You made me feel every inch of it, with every inch of myself ( ... )

::blushes:: You know, I used to think my head was pretty firmly planted on my shoulders, but you are making me reconsider that. Wow. Thank you so much! I’m very glad you enjoyed it.

A long time ago my original fic genre of choice was high fantasy, and while I’ve drawn away from that lately I guess a little bit of the wanting to play with magic is still hiding out in the back of my brain. It was a lot of fun to delve back into that a bit here, and I’m very glad that came across. :)

Oh, oh, my gosh, but this is utterly brilliant. I love your Sirius and the way you get into his head and show us all the little things crawling around in there, every insecurity and uncertainty and the old pain that's been gnawing at him for so long; that Remus acts as an unwitting catalyst to spark his growth is so, so powerful, and I feel like both of them have taken a solid step toward the great beast of maturity by the end of the fic. It's beautifully written, and Sirius' dialogue at the end--the way he opens up a part of himself to Remus he's maybe never busted open for anyone else before--is fantastic. You wrote it so well that I just ached for him.

The humor and the pranks woven in are a total delight, and they really added to the atmosphere of magic--the whole thing is threaded through with it, and your language is gorgeous! I swear I could see the potion and James' blue face, poor thing. I really wish I could find a coherent way to tell you how much the ending resonated with me, but I'm coming up with a whole lot of gushing ( ... )

Thank you so much, I’m so glad you liked this. It was a great deal of fun to try and get inside Sirius’ head and find all those little things to share. And I’m glad that you got them growing up, because, honestly, if love doesn’t help you grow at least a little it’s not really love. I’m very happy that that worked for you.
