[For anyone wondering where Seifer's been for the last month or so, well, here's the answer, as a rather bedraggled looking Seifer finally makes his way back out of the forests on the edge of town. He looks kind of worse for the wear, but that's about it, other then the confusion.]

[Cid sees the other man approaching town as he exits the shop he had just visited. He doesn't recognize him, but he seems to have been around a while, probably. Unless he got dumped here in that kind of shape, in which case Cid feels kind of sorry for him.]

[Also, note Cid's pretty new blue not-dress! He's really in no condition himself to be feeling sorry for any strangers, which he remembers now. Still, it would rude to walk away without speaking to him, especially now that he's heard the other guy speak.]

Funny.

[Because, quite frankly, no. No one has a clue, and Cid can't help but wonder if this guy is aware of that. Or if he's, you know, okay in any way.]

You, uh...don't seem t'be new here.

[He looks him over again.]

[There's a pause as Seifer looks over Cid's... unusual choice of clothes.]

What the hell are you wearing?

[The stranger does look awfully comfortable in his own clothes. How did he manage to dodge the clothing shenanigans? No fair...]

S'a damned good question, that. We all got kinda switched around. This...well, I ain't wearin' it by choice or lack o' tryin'a change inta somethin' else, let's just say that.

[Well, as he has no wisdom to impart and the guy has made it back to town...]

[There's an awkward sort of pause, which ought to say volumes about how Seifer feels about it, really. But eventually he speaks up.]
