[The video feed cuts on, skipping and fuzzing out a bit before stabilizing and turning clear.  It is a portion of a room; an empty, poorly lit, hotel room, and no face is seen to identify the user.  Not even breathing is heard.  Then there comes a soft grunt and a muttered curse as the screen shakes momentarily.  Finally after several seconds of

[voice is soft] Genesis... I have only ever heard of one named Genesis, and he had been missing for years, presumed dead...so this is where you have been hiding then?

[Zack squints a little; he can barely see the screen. Yep, new person. Only new people didn't know how to work that Mognet...although come to think of it, some veterans didn't really know how, either.]

[his voice is then distant as though deep in thought] And you are still here. [now more loudly] Is there not a way out of here?

[he is relieved, in a way, to return to the original subject he had used to initiate contact. The people he had met, the things he had learned, were slowly taking their toll]

Cloud has told me of the unexpected departures. [he shakes his head] But I cannot believe that there is no way out. We got in, therefore, logically, we can get back out. We just have to find it.

[he sighs] Being here is not necessarily a bad thing. Those I have spoken to seem quite content, but the fact that I am completely unable to leave of my own will, is what bothers me.

[The presence of yet another window on his video screen causes a reaction would have been a violent one if he had not been better conditioned to surprises.
