Just general tips-- how he would act around people who aren't one of the SOS Brigade members, maybe how he would act around them/other castmates, I don't know |D;;

Well, I thought about it for a bit...I'm not sure if I'm the best person to give suggestions, but I know there's worse out there. Some of it is personal extrapolation, some of it firm BS, some of it canon

Kyon is different. Kyon also interests Itsuki, as he's the otherwise ordinary human chosen by God. Kyon is also one of the only individuals (the other being Yuki...sort of, but I'll get to her in a second) that Itsuki can really relax the facade around and talk shop with. Kyon might be annoyed by Itsuki, and Itsuki might tease Kyon mercilessly at times to get a reaction out of him, but in the end of the day it's Itsuki who Kyon generally gets his explanations from. And when it comes to solving a crisis the SOS Brigade finds themselves in, the two of them almost alway have at least one discussion away from the girls to figure out what's going on and how to solve it.

Basically, gay, straight, bi, asexual, Kyon would be another one of Itsuki's top priorities, in part because of what Haruhi might do if he came to harm, and in part because Kyon is one of the closest things he has to an actual confidant. In Snow Mountain Syndrome...

He can relax the facade, but relaxing it and dropping it are two different things. Just to clarify.

There's a lot more I left out, but true to the character I tl;dred quite a bit already and I'll leave it at that. But I'll keep an eye out for questions, if you think myself or other anons are qualified to handle them.
