But, so this isn't a totally worthless comment: I think the biggest thing to remember with Maya is confidence. I mean, this is a woman who is planning on taking over Filgaia after it returns to its original state just because she wants to own "the most beautiful jewel."

But really - think, period. Rhyme's got a very level head on her shoulders and a high degree of maturity for her age. This neither makes her a stick-in-the-mud or especially shy, however, given how quickly she and Shiki got along and the straightforward (albeit considerate) way she states her opinions. Depending on where you take her from, too, she'll either have a very concrete direction in life (her dreams, whatever they were - extrapolating what they could've been might be fun) or, in spite of her collected exterior, feel lost and fragmented inside. In the games during this period, her brother was her pillar and hope here. If Beat's not present in the game, this fragmentedness might become more apparent. Whichever way you choose to play her, however, will probably be fine since there's not much canon to work with. Have fun! :D
