Pre-Toph, Pre-Zuko turning good.

Just need advice on how he would deal with Toph when not having to go through the difficult training, and how he would handle Zuko being good suddenly. Right now it's really awkward between them, but any advice would be nice. : ]

Without the intense need to HAVE TO HAVE Toph around to teach him the ways of smashing rocks, he's less likely to stand up to her when she gets hostile. He'll still think like the air nomad that he is and try to evade direct confrontations. She's as stubborn as her element, so the only real way for them to connect is pretty much the same as it was in "Bitter Work": he's got to stand up and impress her and earn her respect. But considering how easily put down he was by her tonguelashings at first, it's going to take a special moment for that to happen. I'm sure something'll come up
