Without the intense need to HAVE TO HAVE Toph around to teach him the ways of smashing rocks, he's less likely to stand up to her when she gets hostile. He'll still think like the air nomad that he is and try to evade direct confrontations. She's as stubborn as her element, so the only real way for them to connect is pretty much the same as it was in "Bitter Work": he's got to stand up and impress her and earn her respect. But considering how easily put down he was by her tonguelashings at first, it's going to take a special moment for that to happen. I'm sure something'll come up!

As for Zuko, the fact that Aang still showed hope that maybe they could be friends in "The Blue Spirit", despite all the chasing and harrassment gives you a good idea of how he'd handle a Zuko. He'd be appropriately cautious, but as usual, he wouldn't be the one to attack first. A chance for peace would be considered, though warily (but not as much as say Sokka or Katara). He's the most optimistic of the three, so it's not unlikely that if Zuko really gave a convincing show of his newfound goodness, Aang would go with it.
