* He is insanely confident in everything he does. He is allergic to doubt. The few times (very few times) he expresses doubt are like, at Shinji's memorial, and he gets over it in about five seconds. Personal opinion, but I think he probably falls on the "represses" side of the angst scale. He has issues/angst/doubt, but he isn't going to admit it or even realize it aloud
