Well late post is late, but for anyone else who wants to lol at this fail of mine -

Regarding Sasori - he's not the only one Deidara respects. True, they have a nice little sort-of friendship going on, but remember, Deidara refers to most of his teammates as 'Danna', NOT just Sasori.

On the same theme, Deidara isn't the friendly type. True, he tolerates people, but it never really goes beyond that. He stays on people's good sides, and that's enough for him. In desperate situations, he'll have someone to call on - that's what's important to him.

On the other hand, remember that Deidara is prideful - he's always striving to be better than others, and can become very competitive. He never backs down, even when the alternative puts him at a disadvantage. When he does win something, he'll want to make sure that the whole world knows it.

Things to talk about OTHER than art? It's difficult. Deidara barely ever says anything that isn't laced with artistic metaphor or the desire to blow something up.
