I wish that when people leave you kudos at AO3, there was an option that you could send them a kudo for giving you kudos...or something way less complicated than that. :D ( Read more... )

Kudo-ception~

I got a comment today on an old SV story that made my eyes get all round and wide--hard to do because I'm a naturally squinty-eyed kind of person, so you can just imagine. It was a good comment, in fact, a great one, but it made me realize just how damn freaky the story was, lol! And now I know where the scene came from that's been floating in my head. I've been haunted by a scene from one of my own fics, and couldn't for the life of me remember which one! Is that a sign of creeping age, or does that happen to other people too?

It's a sure sign of genius when you're plagiarizing yourself. It's your greatness shining through.

So, what really happens if you fill your mouth with PopRocks and drink coke? That is how Amelia Earhart died but the Coke company didn't want people to find out so they ginned up this story of her disappearing mid-flight. Wake ( ... )

I KNEW IT!!!!!

I need some shouting like you're on a roller coaster but much less vomiting.

Oh yeah, vomiting really tends to put a pall on the festivities, as it were.

And he treasures every single solitary question, too!

Oh, he does, he really does! Okay, not actually like treasures them but...he's come to accept them as his lot in life. Yes, that's it. ;D

Yay for kudos on an old story! <3

And yes, it's normal for the muscles in your arm to hurt after a shot. I don't know about the salt. The smell of incense from the cabin in Yamagata lingers on our clothes forever. Hubby likes to wash EVERYTHING when we get back.
I've listened to the actors of Outlander say that there is no way they could feel any sort of romantic feelings while filming a scene like that because there are just so many people all around with cameras etc.
I'm on the loud side too according to hubby :P I think guys like it better that way too ;D

Hope you got some sleep!
