Feel free to rec yourself all you want, especially this one! Mariposa is both my favorite and least favorite SV story. Such an awesome story, but OMG just stomp on my heart why don't you! I keep telling myself I want to re-read it, but it never happens. One of these days, I swear I will though. Always loved how you fit yourself in too. *tears up at the red jacket*

Whoooooooo! I think self-recs are good. I mean, of course you can go over the top and be snotty with them, but when you love a story, you want to share it! I have some stories I love, too, that may or may not get much attention, but....

My favorite stories are some that got the least attention. I wrote two Domestic Winchesters, and the one I liked the most got the least interest. The one I wrote off the fly like, whateverman, folks loved. Weird what hits and what doesn't.

Ohhh, self-recs are fine. You do them tastefully & with style! You treat us with a trip to Smallville, one of my favorite most tearjerking stories you've written and I've had the pleasure of reading. *hugs* Yea, since reading stories like yours, danceswithgary, acampbell, and others I'm a little sad in not finding stories like that being posted any more. There were a few, with great starts but they kind of faded away.

I wish I could write more SV because I do miss those boys, but I just don't know what to say about them now. And I really think my style of SV just won't make it anymore. Most folks write het, it seems, and the Clex has faded away. The theme_clex_recscomm has gotten more active again and it's great to see and reread some old stories, remember friends that have moved on to other fandoms!
