there are still 64 minutes left in this day, but i think i will just take a chance and declare it an ideal saturday. ideal for a rainy, cool, lazy, late summer day. not necessarily ideal for, like, your wedding day or anything where weather or self-motivation are important factors ( Read more... )

As I was reading this entry I was reminded (and jealous) of what a great writer you are.

I also was once again sad that we are going to miss each other in Ann Arbor by only one week ... seven measly days.

thanks hotness. i still think that you are the better writer, but i will take that compliment anyway!

and i had no idea that the wedding was going to be in ann arbor. out of all the places in michigan, we end up at the same one SEVEN DAYS APART.

life is such a cruel joke sometimes.

I guess we couldn't be self-depricating if we didn't think the other was the better writer.

Technically the wedding is in some tiny town 10 minutes outside of Ann Arbor, but the hotel is in Ann Arbor.

ohmigod! I, also, was fooled by my dear Clove, he NEVER mentioned his love of football and basketball, and I never had a clue until we moved in together, and was like "huh?" He tricked me!!!
So sorry it happened to you, but glad I am not the only one! :)

i've been told that perhaps this is to counteract living with a girl. maybe he needs to balance out all the estrogen going on in the home by watching teams of men run around in spandex?

I don't understand how I married a man that doesn't watch football. I actually discussed this with my Dad the other day and he doesn't get it either. I guess I just assumed that all men watched sports and that who ever I married would spend their weekend lounging around with me watching sports. I was sadly mistaken.

Ernesto soaked us, but at least he cooled it off a little bit.

You put ketchup on your english muffin, along with egg, cheese and tomato? Awesome! Everyone thinks I'm strange when I get ketchup involved with my breakfast foods.

Banana peanut butter loaf? I think you'd better share that recipe!

ketchup is a mainstay with breakfast. if there are eggs, there is ketchup! it's an unwritten rule.

remind me to get that recipe to you tomorrow. am too lazy to get off arse and type it out now. i'm such a great friend, aren't i? :)
