Gum, maybe. If you're eating a lot of snacks, it may be just because your mouth wants something to occupy itself.
Otherwise than that, I dunno much about your meals but I've found that healthy *ingredients* for food cost more but are tasty. I haven't missed white rice since transitioning to brown rice, for instance, it has a slightly nuttier taste but that's good, now white rice seems 'bland'.

Oh yes! And I've switched to whole wheat pasta, etc. I look at scones and muffins and think, oh I'd love those if only they were made with whole grains! De-fibred flour is like eating cotton candy now, just empty.
Definitely worth the effort to adjust to the taste and texture - so much more satisfying and tasty, too.
Does your 8 minutes + cardio equal at least half an hour each day? That's kinda what you need to maintain your health, more if you actually want to reduce weight.
Yeah, I do about 8 minutes of strength training 5-6 times per week, + 30-60 minutes of cardio 4-6 times per week, + 35 minutes of walking 4-5 times per week.
