Limit, Finished

After much pondering, I finally decied to color Limit's mane and tail, shading gradually from white roots to deep blue tips. (A variant the_vulture suggested, that I'd been considering after posting the poll). I also tied up his mane to make the mane less overwhelming on the right side. I'm glad that idea worked well. And the shiny kinda works; those bright highlights actually add to the visual dynamic. They could use some toning down in the photos, though, maybe with less direct lighting and a tripod to hold the camera steady for a longer exposure. That way, you'll get the dark blue richness back.

The white ribbon is a cute touch. :)

Yeah, I don't really have the equipment for photography. And the pony decorations for my next planned projects have been ... pricier than I would've liked. c.c

Oddly, it's the lighting that's hardest. *All* my light fixtures are ceiling. I have exactly one clamp light. Everything else is permanently mounted. No lamps at all.
