I'm actually really glad the movie deviated from the original story. In the scene when Gothel was taking Rapunzel away in chains, I was actually bracing myself for a long drawn out session of Flynn giving chase and going all out to rescue her...but then he instead cut her hair and DIED! I wasn't expecting it, but I was so relieved it wasn't what I thought it would be!

...I'll have to reply more later, I'm being dragged out the door now. XP

Oh, I like that part. I call "ending" all the scenes after Rapunzel's mother drags Flynn in the big family hug. Everything before that is awesome ^__^
