Good morning, everyone who wasn't born in a bounded world. Why don't How about that snow?

So, tomorrow is Christmas. I'm sure that, ideally, most of us would be spending it with our families. Or our friends, at the very least. But then, our lives include an ancient tree with a shitty truly awful sense of humour.

Forgive me for asking (and for intruding, rest assured, I will not ruin your party) but what is Christmas?

For some people it's a religious holiday, but for most people where I come from it's just a chance to get together with your family and friends. You exchange presents and have a big meal and spend time with each other. The general idea is peace on Earth and good will toward Men.

Why would you ruin it? You could come if you Are you saying you don't Maybe she doesn't want to come.

It's not an intrusion. I don't mind your questions.

A festival to a god?

Sort of, but not the way you know them. A lot has changed.

People believe in God, but it's more an idea and not so much a physical being. Just one God, not lots of them, and not as petty as most of yours were. People aren't things to play with. I'm not a theologian, and this isn't even my religion. I'm probably not the best person to ask. Most of my knowledge of Christmas came from a friend who was Jewish - also not the religion this holiday comes from. I'm focusing on the social aspect. Most people do now.

I think so, too. It's always good to be reminded of the sweet things in life.

A party huh?

I don't know much about Christmas but I do know someone who needs to loosen up. Can I drag him along?

tenuefarfalla December 25 2009, 02:15:55 UTC
Of course. Contrary to Open invitation. The more the merrier. Can't be that unclear if everyone else understands it.

Well I was going to drag him along anyway but if he sees that it's fine then it'll make it easier for me to.

Well, then tell him that I'm expecting to see him. Daxter plus one. It's on my list now. Written in pen. Can't erase it. Tell him I can't erase it.
