WHO: Cedric Diggory
WHAT: returning
WHEN: Tuesday morning
WHERE: the road to Jhelbor and inside the city

Cedric liked snow, usually. Or he had liked snow, once upon a time. At home or at school, when he could sit with a cup of chocolate and watch fat flakes falling outside his window, he'd loved it. Now snow just meant less food and more chances ( Read more... )

Lexington was on his way back to his apartment to try and sleep some. He mostly napped in the earlier morning and late afternoon rather than sleeping straight through any time of day. He chalked it up to the fact that not sleeping as a stone statue was unnatural for him and his body wasn't used to it. He still remained the most active at night though.

As it was, he wasn't really watching where he was going, so it was no surprise when he bumped into someone...well it was to him. "Uh, exscuse me," he said, quickliy backing up and to the side. He adjusted his cloak a little. He'd finally gotten a little fed up with the thing being too long and cut off the excess. Now when he stood upright, the talons on his feet and the tip of his tail were visible.

Cedric stepped to the side, looked down... kept looking down. "Don't worry about it." Something he hadn't seen before, and that was saying a fair amount, considering what he and Robbie had been up to. "Are you a native?" He didn't think so, but it couldn't hurt to check. Better than offending someone.

Well, he hadn't fainted from shock at the sight of him. Hopefully that was a good sign. Standing at his full height, which only brought him to about eye level with Cedric's chest, Lexington extended a hand. "I'm Lexington, and no I'm not a native, are you?"

He placed his hand in Lexington's and gave it a firm shake. "Cedric Diggory. Nice to meet you. Not a native. I'm from Earth." It was easier and easier to introduce himself with that disclaimer. If 'Cedric Diggory of England, Earth' had been any less awkward to say, he probably would have taken it up. 'Cedric of England' wasn't bad, but... not him. He was a Diggory, from a long line of Diggorys. An anchor to a past he was never letting go of, especially with the future connected to it cut so abruptly. "How long have you been in Rowan?"

"Nice to meet you. I'm from earth too," Lex responded, letting his arm drop when they'd finished shaking. He'd been careful not to grip too tightly since it was always easy to hurt someone. "I've only been here for about two or three weeks though."

He glanced around a bit before dropping down so he was standing on all fours. "so, were you going anywheree?" It'd be fine to stay around for a little while, and nice to hold a conversation for a little while.
