Demons. Seriously? One of them was the army's Enchantress, the one who would have been able to tell a Fire Mage where a person's mind was so they could aim an attack. If she was in there, then maybe her living weapon would be. It was worth going to check, anyway. He'd set out looking for Robbie, and now he was in a place with a Necromancer who'd been teaching him - a Necromancer who could just vanish, and wasn't that something ( ... )

Sonic shook his head. "Nah. I did come here to check in on things, but now I'm just holding down the fort 'till Cho gets back." He cast a glance inward, toward the silence of the chambers.

"All's quiet on the creepy, possibly-mystically-induced sleep front," he noted.

He wasn't blind to the possibilities of what Cedric's visit meant. The sleep had left these people vulnerable. Given... circumstances, Sonic knew it was possible there were some that certain people would try to hurt.

Or it was possible Cedric was just here to look in on the situation. Sonic still didn't know him very well, so it was hard to gauge. It didn't mean he wouldn't be keeping a close eye, a wary ear, and if possible, a quick foot on things.

Cedric nodded and poked his head into one of the rooms. He could see Quahl on the floor, next to her mother. The room veered off to the right, and Cedric very much doubted they were going to keep demons in the same room as elves, but he may as well check.

He paused, on his journey back, next to Quahl. She looked peaceful. More so than usual. A tension he hadn't even noticed she carried was gone when she as like this. "So, still no idea what did this?" No demons around the bend, just someone who looked human and the Necromancer. He'd need to know that later.

"No idea," Sonic echoed. "It's a good thing some of these folks were found by other people, otherwise I might've thought the Mother was just taking an unusually long nap." Still no sign of Mikney, either, or of Elimyr. Was it possible one of them was responsible for this? Sonic shrugged to himself. It was as possible as the possibility they were still somewhere else slugging it out epic-style, leaving everyone else to wait and wonder in the desert.

"So they just... don't move, don't react at all. They're all in a coma and no one knows why?" He was walking back out of the first room now. A quick glance in the one next to it, the one that the 'L' of this larger room curled around, showed there were only two people. He didn't know either of them. He wondered, briefly, why they were on their own, but dismissed it, because they weren't who he'd come here to find. Which left only one room, and Cedric was headed for it now.
