Outside the Scarinish Hotel, Tiree, is the most beautiful little natural bay. This wreck on the shoreline has been adopted by the sheep, who head there en-masse at dusk, to congregate for shelter. They became very noisy when I approached with my camera

Beautiful! What a handsome sheep. I just realized. Is there no singular word for sheep?

I'm afraid that this is the best res I've got of this one - it was a midsummer dusk and the light really caught me out. It operates differently up there.
Can you assure me that this is for you only?

Of course I can! It's going up on my sheep wall! So far, there's only one other thing on the sheep wall, but this will be a fine addition!

it was a strange sky; I knew it was strange, but I didn't really register how strange the light was. At least the darkness didn't overwhelm

From the style of that boat, which is nineteen thirties-ish, she's been there a good long time- long enough for the sheep to get used to the idea, plainly. :o)

you're very clever to know that; but I would guess that you're absolutely right. No-one could tell me how long it had been there.
Having said that, there is a definite time-warp factor on some of the islands...
