As I'm not much for art criticism, I think I'll just repeat what I'm certain countless others have told you before. Your art is pretty, and terrifically enjoyable to look at, and it makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. You draw really lovely faces, and beautiful women in beautiful surroundings, and manage to make people attractive subjects. I find that impressive. But then, I find lots of art impressive and beautiful and lovely, and I'm sure some of it has been deemed worthless junk by whomever it is that decides such things.
Essentially, I might not be the one to be asking if you want Real Art Criticism, but I'm willing to look at your art and feel fuzzy and tell you it's lovely any day. Hopefully that's sufficient.
You are a giant sweetheart :) Your commentary isn't too useful in the making-art-better direction, but it excels in the making-Maggie-warm-and-fuzzy-too direction.
2. If so, what exactly is it that defines my "style"? Dunno! I’m bad at this! You use a lot of delicate… lines. Or something.
3. Would you say my art usually follows a 'theme'? Are pretty women a theme?
4. Is there anything I really need to improve on or change? You haven’t drawn any spiders turning into trees or trees turning into spiders yet. You should improve on or change this.
5. Does my style (if I have one) remind you of/look like the style of anyone else? Um. Sometimes you sort of vaguely remind me of a steampunk Arthur Rackham.
6. Judging from whatever art of mine that you've seen, what do you think I do the best at? Lines! Whenever you draw stuff in pen I die a little of delight and amazement.
7. What do you think I suck at? Modern abstract bullshitting for a grade.
