Link exited the Pokémon Center, still looking a little baffled. The modern interior of the building had caught him off guard-being used to smaller island residences with, if not less technology, then at least more crude. Still, the woman inside who had taken Lapras had quickly returned it, and from what he could tell the facility had a reputation for thorough healing. And Link grateful that the service had been free, albeit surprised.
Smiling up at the man who had accompanied him to the center, Link held up his lone Pokéball, face friendly but with a spark of challenge. Would the other trainer prove more difficult to defeat than the wild creatures had been?
