[just so happens that another soliciting young man also finds that particular bikini to be distinctly familiar, and another pair of hands find themselves snaking for the same bikini moments before it is appropriated by the first set of hands.

Fuji Shuusuke brushes his bangs out of his eyes absently, and tilts his head in consideration, before smiling.]

I suppose this would be what I'd call 'impeccable taste'.

[and any amusement jade might have felt in that store is suddenly both amplified and negated by the newcomer's appearance. is surprised by fuji's presence? perhaps, perhaps not. the only thing jade is extremely sure of is the fact that he suddenly feels like keeping the yellow bikini in his hands longer than he originally planned.

of all the people to meet in a lingerie store.]

I could say the same. [and here jade is lifting the hanger, showcasing the lost bikini. what a loss, fuji. what a loss.] A pity your hands aren't as quick as your eyes, Two Full Cups.

[is the other's presence in the lingerie shock anything of a surprise? not really. he thinks he's had far more intricate surprises-- though this one, in itself, ranks fairly high up there in terms of amusement. on the other hand, he doesn't think he expected the other man to be so tall. it takes him a moment to adjust to the height difference that the pokegear once made irrelevant, considering the right angle to maintain eye-contact without making it tedious.

it's not something that he's particularly bothered by, but it's yet another thing to watch out for.]

I'd say it's the weight of the water that slows me down, Two Empty Cups. I never thought shopping for women's swimwear would be so competitive.

A surprisingly realistic observation, coming from an optimist.

[there's the smallest trace of a lilt in his words--that small bit of teasing mixed with amusement mixed with some sort of underlying statement. but no, that's just overthinking things. jade's just being jade and making things interesting with some unrelated teasing.]

At the very least, you're prepared for next time. Might I suggest adorning half your load for that particular adventure?
