you know he doesn't cut on stage anymore. i wonder if it's because of something management said or that he just couldn't go any further without trespassing, passing a threshold into somewhere else entirely, summoning that other self or selves and letting them take over. i think kyo is authentic, was always, i think most of what we see is true, not just show, i know on a smaller level we can all feel that madness at a concert, or when submitting to a passion. mmusic definitely has that attribute of incantation, summon, going into you, like drugs, completely like drugs. loosing oneself, bringing out the Other. but i also think he sometimes may want to be normal. i think maybe dissociating between the two is hard. i don't know. i talk a lot about this because it fascinates me, this loosing of oneself, completely submerging to a feeling, a mood, going somewhere else. and coming back. masks can take over and depersonalize (like with uruha perhaps, or the fictional uruha) but with kyo there is no mask, but the subconscious, untamed,
