Did you manage to take in any of the World Cup spectacle?

Of course! I didn't go to live matches, but I watched quite a lot on TV, mainly the finals and the matches with African teams. i was rooting for Ghana and I still bear a grudge against Uruguay for beating them in the penalties! And against the obviously-blind referee! We're still talking about that match here, the way the Uruguayans started out underestimating the Ghanaians and were given a real run for their money. My home office has a Ghanaian flag and two SA ones and my car has mirror socks with the SA flag on them.

Ronnie's been a bit sick and feeling very tired and low, so she hasn't been online much.

It's going well and I'm finding it fun, which does perturb me as everyone else I know who is doing one finds it difficult, depressing, scary and lonely. Keep wondering what I'm not seeing, but my supervisor seems happy with my work and it went down well at the conference last year. Maybe I've just found my niche... ;)
