Okay, smartie. I think these are very good. And the one thing I've learned about drawing is that you get better the more that you do it. My stuff changes all of the time.

Love the kitteh on the couch. And love the pastels. I tried pastels years ago, and was very, very bad at them. You did well with those portraits.

I have absolutely no clue what I'm doing with the pastels. It's this ancient box that used to be my mum's. I went online to see if there were any tips - and found out you're meant to do the dark colours first, but when I tried it, it just didn't work for me. So, typically, I'm making it up as I try it out lol. There are reasons I don't consider myself an artist at all and leave that to talented folks like you ;)

Well... I recognised all of 'em!

The Little John & Much & Sean Bean ones are particularly good, and I am currently hiding behind the sofa from the Sheriff.

The pastels really put me in mind of those recreations they do on things like Time Team of what the skulls would look like with a proper face on (and several cans of Tennants Extra!)

I hates it when people blether on about how much you look like someone of the opposite sex. In what way do they think it's flattering??

I was hounded for years at school by numbnuts calling me Rowan Atkinson, or even more kindly, Mr. Bean. In fact, one girl who I was actually quite friendly with, wrote in my leaving book, "Do you remember when I started off the Mr Bean business? Ha ha, that was really funny."

ROTFL you've made me feel so much better about the Harry Potter thing now...honestly, I've got short hair and glasses - how does THAT make me look like a geeky teenage boy? *lives in denial* I now have funkier glasses.

At school, after unwittingly making the mistake of calling a boy Roland Rat because of his crumpled socks (and him taking it the wrong way and assuming I was talking about his face) I ended up being called Mona Lisa for a while. And there was the brief 'Baby from Dirty Dancing' period when I had that haircut (and unfortunately, the nose). Maybe I should be happy with Harry Potter :) there's much worse I could be equated to...like, say, Mr Bean ;op
