My Broken Ankle and Surgery Ordeal

Wouldn't you know that as soon as I post about reaching my limits - in some weird joking way I'm sure I get thrown another wrench to add to the chaos? Work was going good - Grandma seemed to be improving. Sorry to hear about your ankle surgery and all too! ouch! You got yours out in 2 years? He hasn't even hinted that I will ever have mine taken out - but thats what I had too - a rod and seven screws put in. Thanks for the tip too on the Vitamin E Oil. I will definitely have to use it. I'm doing ok on the crutches but am hating not being my independent self and able to just come and go and do what I want. Not driving is a big chore too as I like to run and get food if I can't stand and cook. Everyone's shocked at how well I'm doing - only 1 pain pill in 48 hours now. I hate the little bolts of zinging pain that zip through my ankle into my foot like electric surges that I get throughout having it elevated. Did you have those? Heard it's it trying to heal but it wakes me up.
