For all the tired, your decorations look wonderful :) I really miss having a real tree, there's really just no room in the house that we're in. We have this tiny fake tree that we put on top of one of the big speakers near our tv, so at least I do have a tree. I'm hoping to go a little nuts with the lights too. I just love the mellow light of Christmas lights. In the middle of all the busy that is the holiday season I find that they provide a nice calm, and warm glow in my heart. Here's to a quieter week for you :)

Thank you. I do love it when it's all done, shooting for completion today!

I love that tree with just the white lights on it. When we were kids we had something like those foldout foil paper starbursts (at least that's what I think they are) that you have in your half round window. Nice!

Believe me, I have one or two of those things around the house myself...

Icicles are a must, I used to love the tiny aluminum strips we had when i was a child even though my mother insisted we hang each one individually. And sometimes the cats woukd eat them... argh

If I find some good icicles, I'll get a tree. Loose tinsel? I'd need that too. I always feel like it's missing from most trees.

The tree looks beautiful despite being a pine. I'm allergic to pine so prefer a fir (or an artificial tree). :)
