You know how it goes, when you run out of anything else to take pics of, there's always the critters :)

Isn't that the truth? They make up most of my photos these days.

Awww Harolllld <3333 He definitely looks regal. Very king-ly. What a handsome lil' guy.

Natty is gorgeous--so big! How many pounds? My pops-in-law has a dog 110lbs and she's a sweetie but wow what a beast... : )

Natty weighs about 65 lbs. I did not envision her ever getting quite so large when I found her under the back deck.

Harold and his now deceased brother, Kumar, are the only brown cats I've ever had and I've had a lot. That makes him special.

Aww you found her? Please tell me the story, if you'd like to share :)

Harold and Kumar...<3 and you're right brown is so unique. I've had a lot of different (and beautiful) greys and charcoals and almost purple, but never a brown kitty (yet)

About a month prior to finding Natty, there had been a yellow lab hanging around the neighborhood. Two of my granddaughters had fallen in love with him and spent a whole afternoon playing with him. Unfortunately he was run over by a truck and killed. They were desolate. You would have thought they'd had him their whole lives. Anah, the older one started begging me to get another dog, she was on it constantly. Finally I said, "If the Universe sends us a dog, I will keep it." Within two days I was sitting in the living room when I heard this whimpering noise from outside. A search revealed a tiny brindled puppy huddled under the back deck. True to my word I brought her in and she's been here ever since. Who am I to argue with a gift from the Universe ( ... )
